How We Love and How We Grieve: Poems of You and Me
uses a combination of the five stages of love and grief to uniquely express experiences the authors has had with the love and loss of individuals that were dear them.

Living Through Haiku : Poems While in Japan
A random conversation might some day inspire you to write a book, much like one with an elder Japanese man inspired the author to start writing English Haiku poems to make note of feelings, thoughts and observations they were having during the peak and depressive stages of their grieving.
The first poem written in the book is about an observation made while on a flight back to Japan after the author had returned to Jamaica for a few months to alleviate the onset of a depressive episode.
Since their return to Japan, this is the second in a series of books that has helped the author and you can see and experience just how they book has captured moments from the author's life through four sections.
The first section is called " While On The Way " which has noted observances while the author was either commuting for work or talking a casual stroll. The other three sections are " Views From School", " A Reminiscent Mind" and " Tales Of Daily Life". The poems from each section is as their titles suggest, so readers can experience the poems as they were.
